Fresh on Track – Towards a Greener European Cold Chain

To be confirmed

High-level session

we will explore how public-private collaboration, modal shift and digital innovation can strengthen cross-border food logistics across Europe. By doing so, Fresh on Track actively contributes to key EU goals: decarbonisation, sustainable mobility, and a greener, better-connected Europe. Improving accessibility between southern and northern regions is central to this mission – and vital for future-proof, climate-resilient supply chains. This high-level session brings together representatives of EU institutions, regional governments and logistics actors to share strategies, best practices and opportunities for cooperation.

Programme

The programme includes:

  • Contributions from Members of the European Parliament
  • Keynotes from the European Commission (DG MOVE & DG REGIO)
  • Project presentation: Fresh on Track pilot within the Ten-T framework
  • Insights from exporting regions and digital frontrunners
  • A panel of regions along the Valencia–Oslo corridor (South-Holland, Valencia, Catalonia, Île-de-France, Skåne, Oslo and more)
  • Launch of the “Corridor Manifesto” with a call to action

This event will highlight the urgency to invest in sustainable, cross-border logistics and will advocate for structural EU support to accelerate modal shift for fresh goods.
